Linda Lu Marshall

Linda Lu Marshall, 89, of Beloit, passed away on September 7, 2026 in her home. She was born on August 18, 1937 to the late C.E. Mike and Lucielle (Mcnett) Stadel. She was a Beloit Memorial High School class of 1955 graduate. Linda married Walter F. Marshall on July 14, 1956. He preceded her in death in 2011. Linda spent her career as a banker with M&I Bank. She was a faithful member of Hope Evangelical Free Church where she gained many close friends. Linda and Walter loved the times spent on their house boat on the Mississippi, she devoted time volunteering with Stateline Pregnancy Clinic & Right to Life. She hosted special Christmas Eve gatherings with family that were a special highlight every year. Linda made Jesus a priority with her grandchildren; reading Bible scriptures and preparing special holiday meals together. She was always giving and made these times so special that her family will forever cherish. Linda enjoyed sewing, painting, crafting, and traveling. Family was everything to Linda, she was the most proud of being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her children; Michael Marshall, Mark (Jutta) Marshall, Julene Marshall, grandchildren; Brandon (Candy) Marshall, Brittany Marshall, Brianna (Jeremy) Bishop, Marcus Marshall, Bianca (Julian) David, Nicole Marshall, Melanie Marshall, Ian Hoblit, great-grandchildren; Trinity Dray, Charity Gross, Catryna Mally, Emeliya Marshall, Makayla McGlory, Isaac Bishop, Alivia Bishop, Evander David, great-great grandchild, Briella Sly, step-brother, Jerry (Judee) Wood, nieces; Brenda (Scott) Aleff, Kathy (Ed) Weich, daughter-in-law, Charlene Marshall, grand-dog, Harrison. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 5PM at BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME- 1000 E. Inman Pkwy- Beloit.
