In Loving Memory of Steven J. Roberts July 19, 2026, with profound sadness we announce the passing of Steven Roberts. Born May 1, 1953, he lived a life defined by faith, kindness, generosity, and service to others. A devoted Catholic, he attended St. Maria Goretti Catholic for his education and faith where he developed a lifelong love for God and the Church. He later graduated from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. His faith remained the foundation of his life, and he faithfully attended church while generously volunteering to help feed the people experiencing homelessness through his parish. He dedicated more than 30 years of his career to healthcare, caring for others with compassion and commitment. He also helped with his father Joseph in construction where his strong work ethic and dependable nature earned him respect of everyone around him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Golf was one of his greatest passions, and he treasured every opportunity to spend time on the course. He also enjoyed gathering with friends at the local bar, singing karaoke, and sharing laughter with those around him. An avid reader, he had a lifelong passion for books and was always eager to learn something new. He took pride in his appearance and loved dressing up, rarely leaving home without his favorite hat – especially his cherished cowboy hat which became part of his signature style. He was also a devoted Godfather who cherished the special bond he shared with his Godchildren. Above all, he will be remembered as a man of unwavering faith, a generous heart, and a compassionate spirit. His love for God, his family and friends, and his dedication to helping others left a lasting impact on everyone blessed know him. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the loving arms of our Lord. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, his smile, and his servant’s heart. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23 May he rest in eternal peace.
