JoAnn Ruth (Kovalske) Angus

Watertown, WI - JoAnn Ruth (Kovalaske) Angus of Watertown, Wisconsin passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 57. JoAnn was born May 24,1963 to Erwin and Ruth (Benninger) Kovalaske. She was a Graduate of Watertown Senior High School Class of 1981. JoAnn took joy in cooking for friends and family, loved the company of those she held near and dear, adored her grandchildren, loved her pets and especially enjoyed watching the Packers. JoAnn is a member of Christ United Methodist Church. All services are pending. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. In response to the Covid19 restrictions, we ask those who attend to please wear a mask and practice social distancing. This will apply when service dates are determined. JoAnn is survived by her children, Jacob (Nyxi Gammieri) Angus, April Angus and her step-daughter Amanda (Angus) Oestreicher; four grandchildren; two sisters; Ruby (Robert) Cumberland of Elysian, MN and Shirley Schuenemann (Donald Lamp) of Watertown, WI; one brother, Richard (Joyce) Kovalaske of Waterloo, WI; special friend Jim Greenwald and numerous other family, friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Ruth Kovalaske; her brother, Robert Kovalaske; two sisters, Barbara Bachman and Mary Kovalaske-Copening and two nieces and two nephews. The family would like to express a thank you to the team of caretakers that did a great job tending to JoAnn the last few weeks of her life; Debbie, Shelby, Kristina, Barb, Tina, Vicki, Cindy, Linda, and the staff at Rainbow Hospice. A big thank you to all those who visited JoAnn, gave her flowers and gifts, brought a smile to her face, and provided her some peace knowing her last memories were of those who loved and cared for her. JoAnn was a treasured soul and was very thoughtful and kind. She would want us all to remember her in such a manner as Tim McGraw put it "Always Stay Humble and Kind".
